Getting involved with these groups helps me practically embody progressive socialist ethics in my daily life. I believe that creating radical change in sustainable, nonviolent ways – though not to discount unsustainable, violent methods – is the only way for us to get through life while persistently rescusitating hope for a better world.

North Brooklyn Mutual Aid Group: Decentralized community initiatives for Williamsburg/Greenpoint, neighbor to neighbor. I work on the community fridges which provide access to food freely given and free to take, neighbor to neighbor.
8 Ball Artist Collective: Anarchist, volunteer-run, anti-capitalist artist collective for artists by artists. They provide free materials, space (at 1 E. Broadway), and community for all to make, sell, learn and love art. I work on zines, radio, and publishing.
